 "The main purpose of media is entertainment."

I disagree with this statement because media has many purposes such as making money, educating people and to spread a message to a large amount of people. Entertainment is a purpose of Media however it is not the main purpose. Media has many purposes not just one main purpose. 

"Media is important to the way I view the world."

In some ways I agree with this statement however in other ways I do not agree with this statement. Media can be very educational and it can help people to understand what the world is like and what is going on in the world. However, not everything on the Media is necessarily true so it could tell people things about the world which isn't true and some people could believe these things and see the world in an incorrect way. Therefore I neither agree or disagree with this statement

For example guns and people fighting make it more intense , more interesting  and it implies that the film is an action film.  This would persuade  people who like action films t o watch the film.   Editing is also used in the Tenet trailer. For example some of the trailer is edited to be in reverse. This suggests that parts of the film are in reverse or happen in reverse.   Tuesday 2nd February 2021                                   Setting Why might a director choose the following settings? 1. An isolated house in a rural setting for a horror film. A director might choose this setting for a horror film because it makes it creepier if the house is in the middle of no where as the characters cannot escape easily and get help if they are in danger so it is more likely that whatever is after the characters will be able to get to the characters. 2. A big city for an action film A director might choose this setting for an action film because usually cities are very busy and usually a lot happens in an action film so it would make sense for the film to be set in a busy place 3.
