  Thursday 24th September 2020 LO: to analyse a media text using Media Language In the Tenet trailer, mise-en-scene is used effectively to make the scenes more intense. For example guns and people fighting make it more intense , more interesting  and it implies that the film is an action film.  This would persuade  people who like action films t o watch the film.   Editing is also used in the Tenet trailer. For example some of the trailer is edited to be in reverse. This suggests that parts of the film are in reverse or happen in reverse. This makes the film seem more interesting and intriguing,  therefore more people will be likely to watch it. It trailer Camerawork In the trailer for  the film It, camerawork is used effectively to make the scenes more scary which makes the audience feel scared so people who like horror movies are more likely to watch the film.  "The main purpose of media is entertainment." I disagree with this statement because media has many purposes such as making money, educating people and to spread a message to a large amount of people. Entertainment is a purpose of Media however it is not the main purpose. Media has many purposes not just one main purpose.  "Media is important to the way I view the world." In some ways I agree with this statement however in other ways I do not agree with this statement. Media can be very educational and it can help people to understand what the world is like and what is going on in the world. However, not everything on the Media is necessarily true so it could tell people things about the world which isn't true and some people could believe these things and see the world in an incorrect way. Therefore I neither agree or disagree with this statement
